Yes, absolutely we love traveling!! KB Images LLC is located in central Iowa but KB Images LLC travels in and out of the state of Iowa!

KB Images LLC covers a range of 75-150 miles based on the package/service you select from Des Moines, IA before travel fees are charged. You can find the covered miles under the pricing tab.

Travel fees after the covered miles are .65 cents per mile in Iowa. If your shoot is more than 350 miles from KB Images LLC office location then you as the client are responsible for 75% of the travel fees (GAS,AIRFARE,HOTEL,UBER).

We would love to meet with you before booking if you have questions. If you have a booked wedding we prefer to meet in person at least once before your wedding date. If meeting in person is not feasible we can meet remotely.

When it comes to photography KB Images LLC takes it seriously but fun at the same time! Photography is an art form, just like a painting and/or a sculpture. It requires training, skill and knowledge to do well. When it comes to photos of you, your family or even your business, you don’t want an amateur saving your memories. Yes! We offer studio and outdoor shooting options! We do have limitations to the studio as far as spacing goes. In a photography studio, you have full control of the environment, whereas if you shoot outside you’re subject to unpredictable weather and changing light. You can schedule a session without worry, knowing that your shoot can take still place whether it’s raining or snowing and whatever time!

Unfortunately no. Retainer/Deposit fees are used to reserve your date. Once we’ve reserved your date, we do not accept new clients for your date/time.

We understand that not everything goes as planned during a session, especially weddings!

We never pack up before the contracted time, we’re not leaving on the dot when the contracted time is up. Instead, we will ask you at the end of your contracted time whether or not you would like to extend. If you would like us to stay, we will charge the rates specified in your contract or discuss at that time!

No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery to you.

Sometimes candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. Unfortunately, they can also yield some unflattering facial expressions or blackmail . We might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure we have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment. With our expertise of processing thousands of images each year, we may eliminate ones that we feel are duplicates and only deliver the best ones!

You have the right to print/and or reprint images whenever you want. However, you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without the written consent of KB Images LLC, owners and associates.

KB Images LLC strives to shoot all photos out of camera with minimal processing/post-production. In post production this is when we use our photo editing software to adjust every image we deliver. Each image is produced with our unique signature style production before you get them back.

This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and other corrections. Many photographers will not post produce all images or will only produce “select” images from your session. This means that you may have other pictures in your album that are too dark, have strange skin tones or other common photography flaws.

We also don’t send our work out to 3rd parties for editing as 3rd parties apply quick presets and do not go image by image.

KB Images LLC will send you a link to access the image gallery/album that has your session in it. This link also allows you to download and /or share your images.

KB Images LLC saves all images that have been delivered to the client for one year from the date of final delivery that is accessible to the client via an online gallery that all images can be downloaded from.

No, we don’t work with any lenders to provide payments.

Yes, we do after the initial deposit to hold your shoot date is paid! If you choose to do split payments a $35-$75 will be added to your first payment invoice to cover the multiple processing fees.

Yes! Many venues require the photographer/s to have insurance. So before hiring someone else, make sure they are covered and they are running a reputable business.

Yes we do accept cash to pay your invoice for your session. We do also allow deposits/retainers this way but they must be delivered in person or we must meet in person with you!
